The Rev. Renita Lamkin is a native of Kansas City, KS. Rev. Lamkin graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Organization Studies and a minor in Communications.

Rev. Renita united with the AME Church in 1994, was licensed to preach and admitted to the Northwest Missouri Annual Conference in 1996. Rev. Lamkin was ordained an Itinerant Deacon and appointed to her first pastoral charge in 2001. In2008 she was ordained an Itinerant Elder. Rev. Renita was appointed with her husband to pastor St. John AME Church in St. Charles, MO in 2004 where they continue serving.
